Getting Started
Welcome to ACE! This will help you with the basic features of ACE and guide you through getting started with the platform.
Basic Features
ACE is a platform designed to help you consolidate vulnerabilities and compliance checks across various tools into a single comprehensive platform, with systems for visualization, reporting, mitigation, and remediation.
To get started, ensure you have access to the ACE platform and have the necessary credentials to log in. Once logged in, you can begin by exploring the dashboard. Ensure an admin has added you to the appropriate environment and granted you the necessary permissions to access the features and data within ACE.
Dashboard
The Dashboard views are ACE's primary way of showing your overall security posture
At the top left of the page, there is a selector for Current Environment! This allows you to switch between different environments you have access to. When you click the Dashboard tabl, you will see three options:
- CSO/Executive
- ISSO
- Security
The CSO/Executive dashboard provides a high-level overview of the organization's security posture, focusing on key metrics and trends that are important for executive decision-making.
The ISSO dashboard is tailored for Information System Security Officers, providing detailed insights into system-level security, compliance status, and potential vulnerabilities that need attention.
The Security dashboard is the main dashboard providing insights for a single environment. Here, you'll see a breakdown of the last scans, total vulnerabilities, and assets, alongside a Risk Map and Compliance Score. From here, one can drill down into specific vulnerabilities, track remediation progress, and manage assets to maintain a strong security posture.
